Raspberry Pi robotics competition in Philadelphia

Pi Wars is heading the United States with the first ever Pi Wars USA competition.

The US version of Pi Wars will take place 3 June 2017 at Collegium Charter School. Located in the Oaklands Corporate Center in Exton, Pennsylvania

Teams create Raspberry Pi controlled Robots. These robots compete in various non-destructive challenges to earn points. Prizes awarded at the end of the day.

According to the website:

Pi Wars is the brain child of Tim Richardson and Mike Horne in the UK. It is a challenge-based robotics competition in which Raspberry Pi-controlled robots are designed, built and programmed by individual students or student teams prior to the competition. On the day of the competition, the students compete in various non-destructive challenges to earn points. Prizes are awarded at the end of the day in various categories based on point totals. The inaugural event in the US is being presented by Achievement House Cyber Charter School's Innovation Academy and is being held on June 3, 2017, at Collegium Charter School in Exton, PA. Our friends across the pond are as excited about this event happening here in the US as we are. We are grateful for all their help!

Don't forget that Pi Wars UK is going to be held on 1-2 April 2017. More than 120 teams have entered to take part in this year's Pi Wars competition.
