Pi Wars is the great yearly robot challenge for Raspberry Pi-enthusiasts. You may remember that the next instalment of the mechanical challenge is missing 2016 in favour of a better tournament in April 2017.
For those interested in taking part, applications to enter the challenge are now open and you can get yourself entered by heading to the Pi Wars website. Entries are open until Thursday 22 September and you'll be notified if you've been selected on Saturday 1 October.
Pi Wars 2017 will be held during the weekend of 1 April and 2 April 2017, with spectators able to attend and watch the battles as well! Stay tuned for an announcement for when those tickets will go on sale...
