The robot experts at PiBorg have been running the Formula Pi robot racing series for a little while now, and they’ve been excellent to watch. Full of drama, speed, and confused robots. The recent season upgraded to MonsterBorg robots which have only made the races better and the grand final is airing tonight.

“With the beefed up MonsterBorg robots containing the Raspberry Pi 3 the racing has been absolutely brilliant and so competitive.” Claire Pollard from PiBorg told us. “The top five robots have average lap times separated by less than one second!”

You can watch the final over on YouTube, where it will start at 6:30pm BST, which is about 1:30pm Eastern time in America and 10:30am Pacific time. One of the finalists is MagPi contributor Richard Hayler and his sons, so be sure to cheer him on!
